OUR STORY

We are a collective of educators, naturalists, guides and outdoor enthusiasts. Savannah Environmental Education Center (SEEC) is a manifestation of a dream to connect nature, education and community in Savannah. Starting with our pilot program, Tidelands Nature School, we hope to inspire the youngest in our city to explore, protect, and find solace in our visually stunning, biodiverse habitats. We want to share our passion and knowledge of Savannah’s natural environment, while seeking collaboration with other people and organizations in our community.

Our Mission: SEEC is dedicated to cultivating curiosity and awareness of our diverse natural world. We aim to illuminate our innate connection to nature, fostering stewardship of vulnerable ecosystems in and around the city of Savannah.
